Fern Selesnick, M.Ed., Senior Career Counselor and Webinar Faciliator

(she/her/hers) 


Fern is a training and coaching professional with over 20 years' experience serving individual clients and organizations. She founded Fern Selesnick Consulting in 2002 to assist people of all ages at all stages of their career. Her decision came after years of witnessing the powerful, positive impact of customized career services, financial literacy, and wellness education on peoples' personal and personal lives. 


A key element of Fern's work is helping people adapt to the rapid occupational changes and technological demands of today's labor market. She combines individual coaching on careers and work-life balance with original webinars on job search, financial literacy, fair housing law, and consumer education for first-time homebuyers. Her past work includes conducting seminars on stress management, interpersonal communication, and effective supervision, and co-leading workshops on managing chronic illness. Fern draws on her broad base of experience to assist clients in reaching their professional and personal goals. 


Fern holds an M.Ed. in Human Services Counseling from Antioch University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is certified by Consulting Psychologists Press to administer the Strong Interest Inventory. She lives in Western Massachusetts. 

Heather Day LMSW, Social Media Advisor


Heather is a skilled youth advisor, community leader, and trainer on personal growth and diversity for schools, youth groups, and non-profit organizations in New York and Western Massachusetts. She currently serves as Program Manager for NEoN Works, New York City,  New York. 


Heather holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Connecticut College. She possesses a certificate in Community Action and Public Policy from Connecticut.
